Small Pieces Coating

Since May 2003, the third Rudolf Wiegmann Metallcolor GmbH plant is in operation, this being a coating workshop for small pieces. This plant puts its emphasis on the word 'small'. Developed particularly for the coating of screws and rivet heads, it also has plenty of scope for the coating of other small pieces. At the heart of it is a blasting machine which mechanically pre-treats screw and rivet heads as well as other small pieces. Because the surface is being roughened during this process, the powder coating subsequently applied bonds excellently with the material.

Apart from the various types of screws such as façade screws, drilling screws, plumbing screws, screws for metal fittings, wall screws and lenticular screws, this coating line also blasts and coats in colour heads of blind rivets, claps for ring binders or recessed grips in vehicle construction
